The Buckhead area of Atlanta is one of the Southeast premier shopping destinations. High end department stores, designer shops, and specialty stores offer lots of upscale shopping choices. Buckhead is located five miles north of downtown Atlanta, in the area between I-75 and I-85.

The most concentrated area of shopping in Buckhead is located along Peachtree Road near its intersection with Lenox Road. Lenox Square Mall is a large, four level mall located at 3393 Peachtree Road NE. Bloomingdale, Neiman Marcus, and Macy are the anchor stores at Lenox. There are nearly 250 additional specialty stores at the mall including Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Anthropologie, Michael Kors, FENDI, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier. Serious shoppers will find a wide selection of eateries in the mall, when they are ready to take a break. There is a food court on the lower level, several casual dining choices, and fine dining at Prime, an upscale steak house and sushi bar. During the holiday season Lenox Mall is dominated by the Great Christmas Tree atop Macy. In addition to visiting with Santa, children may also enjoy riding Priscilla the Pink Pig, an Atlanta holiday tradition for generations.

A complimentary shuttle runs between Lenox Square Mall and Phipps Plaza, which is located diagonally across the street at 3500 Peachtree Road NE. Shoppers will find Nordstrom, Belk, and Saks Fifth Avenue at Phipps Plaza. There are more than 100 specialty and designer stores including Tommy Bahama, Juicy Couture, Coach Footwear, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Versace, and Tiffany & Co. Phipps Plaza has a number of restaurants as well as an AMC Theater complex. Both Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square Mall offer free and valet parking.

Shoppers who are looking for interior design and home dor accessories should head to Miami Circle. This area has more than 80 shops specializing in antiques, furniture, rugs, designer fabrics, artwork, and other accessories. Though many of these shops were originally open only to the design trade, most are now open to the public. This is the place to browse for that custom interior design look. Miami Circle is located off Piedmont Road, just ?mile south of Peachtree Road. Another concentration of antique shops and galleries may be found in a two block section along Bennett Street, located off Peachtree Road at the southern edge of the Buckhead district.

Shoppers will find a selection of stores and boutiques in Buckhead that they won find in a typical suburban mall. Though Buckhead has a reputation for upscale designer shopping, there are still plenty of choices for the average shopper who is looking for a good bargain.
